Flowforms,FlowForm Studio is a versatile mixed use space located in the south end of
the Watershed Arts Warehouse in Southeast Portland. FlowForm has been home
to several movement arts including Butoh dance performance, elemental Chi
Gung, Classic Burlesque, Kajukembo, Yoga, and Escabo Daan Escrima. The
space is a large semi circle with windows all around giving a warm feeling
of natural light as well as fresh air. It has a large 20x20 foot Mat ideal
for yoga, tumbling, acrobalance or stretching. There is a 16x16 foot stage
with a house PA. The rest of the space has a wood surface perfect for
dance or more rigorous movement.We also have various martial arts training equipment on site. We think of Flowform as a useful yet sacred space. More
than just a dojo and more than just a studio. It is itself a work in |
